Warden Consulting runs a dedicated undercover programme based on the New Zealand Police undercover programme principles.
Warden Consulting runs a dedicated undercover programme based on the New Zealand Police undercover programme principles. Training of at least 25 undercover agents has occurred over the past 15 years. Training of undercover agents is tailored to commercial applications and includes all facets of evidential requirements, operational techniques and Court preparation. The company undertook the first private sector drug operation in conjunction with the Auckland Metropolitan Drug Squad in 2001. Since then the company has conducted in excess of 100 operations nationally and internationally, resulting in the recovery of property valued in excess of $3 million and over 300 arrests. The leading New Zealand Court of Appeal decision in private sector undercover operations was established by a Warden Consulting operation. (R v Karalus CA420/04, 7 June 2005).
We maintain the same requisite evidential standards as Police programmes, however our approach is structured towards the commercial sector from where our briefs inevitably emanate. Our programme and policies have been refined over a number of years to deliver client orientated results.
We are in a position where we can supply a variety of undercover agents of diverse ethnicity dependent upon the nature of the deployment. We have trained and experienced agents able to span operations from white collar activity down to floor work in commercial operations. Our undercover agents have experience in both drug and property offending, intellectual property breaches, corporate fraud, political scenarios and general intelligence gathering.
